Ever considered they didn't voice their opinion and feelings because staff clearly doesn't give a f*** what the community has to say on any matter? Maybe they came back to join in with the fact that someone who at one point had a higher stature here is siding with them for how bulls*** this has been handled?

EXACTLY.

I initially re-activated my account to have my say on this, but seeing how so many of you are too self-righteous to accept any form of criticism, I don't why I should even bother. It's funny, because Jake's first message before he edited it was the most neutral of this argument.

Now that we've reached the deadline, allow me to rank the submissions based on my experience.

1. Operation Think of the Children
2. Paradise Cletus
3. Archipelago
4. Dog Days
5. Homr in sandy chores

Frankly, I have problems with all five submissions ranging from nitpicks to constant irritation, but I guess I'll let them slide given the time frame to work on these mods. #1 and #2 came really close to each other because of such problems. Same with #3 and #4.

I suppose this is now the standardized format for these blog announcements.

You wouldn't want to know how much I did in this mod nor what I did exactly. A playthrough of earlier builds of A Long Long Night might happen one day. These builds were before I joined development. I know Thomas is okay with this, but I'll wait until you've all seen everything.

I like the idea of the Community Releases page. I have some questions about it however.

• I'm going to forget that it exists. Even a link to the main page won't help me remember it. Can there be a link to just the Community Releases?
  
• Are you planning to add categories for community mods? So far, the list mostly consists of mission mods. The Fully Connected Map is the odd one out.
  
• Will the authors be able edit anything to their mod pages? The staff may forget something or include something that the author may not like. (I'm certain that this will happen with two of my mission mods if they make it on the list.) Could the author do anything about it?
  
• You said that you will add the pages. Are there any plans for normal members to submit their own?
  
• Will smaller or older mods make it on the list (with the creator's permission of course)?
  
• Will the Community Releases page have any affect on the apparently-stuck-in-end-of-life Content Submission System?

This is more about the site, but...

• I suggest making the vertical margin between content blocks a little bigger. It feels cluttered.
  
• I had a bug earlier which I'm not able to replicate. I fooled around toggling between Light and Dark theme (stopping at light theme), went to a community mod page, went to a nonexistent page (404), went back to the page, and the site was suddenly set to Dark theme.

This update came out of nowhere. 1.02 makes Hard mode easier. As I was adjusting A Long Long Night's Hard mode, I figured I should do the same with this mod. My original intent with the second hardest modes in my mods was to be just slightly more bearable versions of their harder counterparts. Every time I followed that idea, I regret doing so. Because the second hardest modes would have been too much harder than the Normal modes.

I wouldn't be surprised if you blamed me for all this s***. This vicious cycle could have ended if your friends at Stoner Team weren't complete jerks (especially towards me). The team would have had a better reputation and you wouldn't have went bonkers on this community yet again just because a few of your friends got what they deserved.

Frankly, I think you brought this up specifically for the drama. No offense, but it's hard to believe your retirement announcement when you've made more than one of these. Each time, you said you were leaving for good. But you only leave for a little while. And all these announcements had something in common: Mentioning s*** that you know will cause drama thanks to your choice of words.

Next, I suppose you're going to come back in the future to make an "apology" post just beating yourself up over this. Each successive post is taken less and less seriously. No one is going to take you seriously if you keep doing this.

Rest in piece, Donuts of Steel. Rest in Hell, Level 6 observatory. v1.01 should fix that crash which I still wasn't able to get. I had someone else test the fixes for me. Also, Donuts of Steel was made easier.

I've never been able to replicate these crashes. By the looks of where you were when these crashes occurred, it appears to happen when loading different parts of the map. I don't have Linux, so all I can advise is to ensure you're using a 1.25 or newer mod launcher.

@Jake, I knew about the word filter. It's the fact that these comments happened so quickly is what irritated me. I expected them to end after the second wave.

For those who need context, I used an alt on YouTube (as of this post, I got rid of it) to respond to someone who appears to be the usual Justin Knight/Ruan De Jager accounts (the name was "Ruan Dee Vaker"). I forgot what I said on the EatMyShorts alt, but whatever the case, Duffhause knew it was my alt. Instead of also calling out the RDJ account like we usually do, he revealed that EatMyShorts was my alt. Basically, if it wasn't for him befriending Macca and then xUnknown, he wouldn't have stooped to this level. Both Macca and xUnknown (mostly the latter) started making subtle hints in the Discord about my alt.


My first message was a joke to an irrelevant conversation (which joke responses like that isn't uncommon). Apparently, Macca was hinting about how I had a J******** account on some other Discord server, but that was completely false. Why would I impersonate a troll whom a lot of us despise? Anyway, xUnknown's message was pretty much what caused me to take a 1-month hiatus from the Discord.

I didn't want to have to make this essay, but seeing as you, Duffhause, are always wanting to start s*** whenever possible for no reason, you were asking for this. You and the rest of Stoner Team are probably going to turn this into another SomeBot copypasta like the immature brats you are. I don't f****** need this.

Yesterday, I was discussing with Nightbane about his "next big video," a Top 10 SHAR mods video (which was teased in a community post on his YouTube channel). That conversation somewhat led to the video I linked, and I just so happened to find that very comment. Seeing as that first advertisement came out of nowhere (and I doubt this is actually his first), I did not appreciate how he was doing it again here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's a good idea to advertise your channel after being criticized for shamelessly advertising an older stream to an old comment thread that is actually on topic with the video it's in.
