That's correct. A mod has to require ASF before it can use its functionality.

As Proddy said previously: There is no official, legal download of this game. The only official way to obtain it is on disc.

I hope that if this new icon gains popularity, it may become the new icon that is used by DounutTeam/Lucas.

While you are free to use this icon however you like on your own personal copy of our tool, I would like to explain why we are not going to adopt it.

The Mod Launcher's icon has been the same since it initially released but that doesn't mean it's outdated. The icon is simply a cannon firing SHAR's icon which is meant to be a comedic take on the programs primary function: launching SHAR.

Your new icon unfortunately doesn't represent what the program does in any way. It also features an old logo and slogan of ours that we haven't used since 2013-2014 if I remember correctly. Furthermore, this text would be unreadable at the size this icon would be displayed at in various places such as the window caption and the taskbar.

An unofficial compilation of the soundtrack has already been posted here.

This is a resource pack of characters that mods can incorporate if they'd like. The characters don't have to replace any other character to be used.

I don't know where you got any of that from since no such files are mentioned anywhere in the tool's documentation.

You would either run it directly from a command prompt with the examples on the aforementioned page or use a batch file. The paths provided are just examples, you would change them to where ever your copy of the tool and your files are.

Running the tool directly would result in the screenshot you showed where it doesn't know about any input files because you didn't tell it any.

Radical hardcodedly does this to a shader named "<CARNAME>Roof_m". So for example "marge_vRoof_m" for marge_v (the Canyonero).

You can prevent this making modifying the shader to have no blend mode instead of an Alpha blend mode.

Hey everyone, I pushed a new update that takes advantage of the new husk features introduced in Version 1.24 of the Mod Launcher.

This update also makes Override Shader Parameters optional and removes the minimum Mod Launcher version, allowing the mod to function in every version of the mod launcher ever released.

The full experience is only available when using 1.24 however.

None of these have set release dates.

I would recommend exporting the characters to Blender using Model XML (not OBJ!) and our https://donutteam.com/downloads/BlenderXMLAddon Blender add-on.

From there, you can edit the actual UV maps of the character. This approach is much easier (after the learning curve of learning your way around Blender, if you're not familiar) and you can do a lot more with it (like applying entirely custom textures).

Are you using 4.0-L2PB7 or 4.0-L2PB8?

This is apparently an issue in the latest version. If you'd like you can download the previous version (4.0-L2PB6) from this page which is the same content wise, besides an April fool's day joke.

Yes, you can do this using the Custom Files hack and Lua Path Handlers. I'm at work so I'm not currently able to provide a detailed guide regarding this but you can check here for a general page about these.
