Shadows in SHAR?

(THIS MIGHT BE A DUMB QUESTION BUT I'M JUST CURIOUS)

I've always wondered, but it never really got answered. (To me directly, that is.) Can SHAR have dynamic shadows/lighting? Like in the cut-scenes? I would love to see SHAR with "cut-scene" graphics. That would make a really cool mod.

Anything is possible with enough effort. That said, we're not likely to attempt anything close to this anytime soon or ever. Not only would this be insanely complicated but we'd rather focus on expanding the game play modding capabilities to allow for more creative and entirely new experiences rather than just making the game look a bit prettier.
