Problem with glass textures.

greetings. for the past few months or so, there's this problem i've been having for some of my mods and specifically they're car mods (ported cars and such). this is more about the problem for cars with windscreens, where you would use a glass texture. the texture i'm using has slight transparency, so you can still see through it but it has a tint. when i apply the texture to the shader and use the shader on a mesh, it seems fine inside the p3d editor. however, when i go in-game to test out my vehicle, the glass texture is just a solid colour and it just drives me bloody crazy because i've tried quite a bit to get it to appear how i want, but to no avail. if anyone can get back to me on this, it would be much appreciated. thank you.
