There's no way to modify the contents of RCF files. And in general you should avoid modifying files in your games folder, you should instead make a CustomFiles folder in a mod. There's a number of guides on the forum on how to do this, but I can just explain it here if you like.
Also modifying music files requires hex editing RMS files which is relatively simple once you get the hang of it.

Loren It doesn't make any sense to do it when you can override them with a mod in the Launcher. It's just bad practice and we don't condone the idea in the slightest.
