Let's take famil_v.p3d as an example; you need to open the car with the Lucas' pure 3d file editor and look for the skeleton (displayed as famil_v(Skeleton)) in the pure 3d file.
There, you'll have the bones and joints. You'll have to change the name of the joint called pl to dl and change the joint called dl to pl.
If you don't wanna swap the positions, then you can just adjust the XYZ values of these two the way you like.
