Stuck on New Game

BoyWithAStrangeName So I Installed the game when I start it everything works fine till I press New Game it gets stuck there I can still hear the music but nothing else works.

That might be the issue. Unofficial "digital" copies of the game have been known to have very odd and out of place issues. Of course, I could be wrong.
