Playstation 5 Controller Support?

Hi there, I just downloaded SHAR on my PC and I'm trying to figure out how to get my controller to work. The thing is, it *does* sort of recognize it, but I can't use the X button without the game asking if I want to quit. Am I missing any programs or anything to get it to work? I'd really appreciate the help!

That sounds potentially like a misconfigured Rebindable Menu Gamepad Inputs hack. You can try the following to double check those settings:

1. Open Lucas' Simpsons Hit & Run Mod Launcher.
2. Switch to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to Rebindable Menu Gamepad Inputs.
4. If it's not checked, it isn't the problem.
5. If it is checked, click it to highlight it, then click Mod Settings....
6. In the window that opens, make sure Back Input is setup correctly for your controller.

EDIT: As a secondary option, I believe the PS5 controller uses DirectInput, so you could try disabling XInput if it's enabled.
