ShahTheLion This mod has some really ambitious features, but I ran into major lag and levels not loading. Looks like it’s unstable on my setup. Hope future updates fix these issues!

Hey, I am having a few issues with the mod, firstly, it crashes a lot when I destroy or damage cars. I don't know if it's something to do with the explosion graphics but it is very annoying. Another thing sis that in Apu's bonus mission, Selma's car is so slow and the other chasing car is so aggressive that it just makes it so you have to go insanely slow and pray your car won't get blown up by the other one or push you out of the tiny range of Selma's car you have to work with. I haven't started the main game yet because I'm the type of person who likes to do as much as they can when first given the opportunity to. Please Stoner Team, I love the concept and aesthetic of the mod and want to love the gameplay, but I can't in this state.
Koopa For another data point: the chasing car was aggressive enough for me that it blew itself up around the monorail, which is how I ended up beating that mission.

More thoughts about the mod while I am typing: there are a lot of cool mechanics here that push the limit of what you can do in the existing maps/engine, (e.g.
) and the map edits are delightful. I do find missions where the primary fail condition is getting arrested to be really frustrating because of how I lose money every time, and how the original game's busted threshold is pretty unforgiving. Since there's an element of randomness to where the traffic/police cars spawn (and crashing being a death sentence), sometimes it feels like you have to get lucky to not get cornered by cops and traffic. It's a different kind of difficulty than other mods since it feels like not every failure is totally your fault (even if there are things you can do to mitigate it). I have gotten better at maneuvering with practice, though, and it's a very unique way of experiencing the game. Having the radar not go down in missions is really cool because it makes you actually be mindful about what causes police attention, and makes me take more control over the driving.
As a whole, the mod is a little too frustrating for me to recommend it to casual SHAR players, but I will likely try to 100% it as I am loving the storyline and the variety in gameplay. The tone/language is gritty to the point of taking out some immersion, but I do love this as a fleshed-out mod with darker themes. I don't currently have direct recommendations to make for the mod itself, but I will say that the technique of holding down the handbreak while accelerating for a boost (as is necessary to take some of the ramps) may not be common knowledge even among intermediate players. I kind of knew it from speedrunning the game, but I wonder if it might be worth pointing out somewhere.

KNOW BUGS :
- Fix Mission 7 entering inside a door crash the game.
- Black Sedan 3ºcamera (alternative view) it's bugged on the sides of the vehicle.
- "Mafia Special Car" had an huamongus collision.
- First car beggining strange collisions on the ground sucking to the ground and then flying around on high speed by nonsense.
- Entering "safe zone garage" may be a little small for some cars an easy obstacle for NPC's preventing entry when vehicles collide.
- Unexpected main menu loading crashes. (if it happends to much times you can't play it again, on LVL 7 is a pain in the ass if it happened to you player)
MISSION TIMER :
- Mission 6 needs more extra time...
- Mission 5 maybe a little extra time too much ATM's...
TO THE ENVIRONMENT :
- Too many police officers cars respawns literally behind you....
- Some weird posting signs on the entry next to the broken road.
EXTRA :
- NPC'S sometimes on missions get stuck on the Krusty burger zone the piles walls.
- Next to Moe's Bar NPC'S get stucked.
- Behind to Moe's Bar NPC's get stucked. (yw)
- Mission 2 too many collectable hints.
MYSELF OPINION :
- Much stressful crashes, in game bad lucky spots that's all.

We are looking into making a casual setting of the mod for more casual players, but you seem to get it. We think SHAR mods have a lot of similarities which we wanted to avoid to make the mod stand out and give people new challenges to experience the game. A side effect of that is some of the conditions are based of police and other stuff we cant control as much without taking away from the challenge of the mod.
Weve added some hints in the new update to guide some players into some strategy in missions people were struggling with.

Yh, its definitely intended for a more mature audience as Scarface isnt really in the kids genre, as well as GTA3 which we took inspiration from a lot because I like the difficulty in that game as well. Some stuff may be over the top but its fun taking liberties when we aren't trying to serve for particular age groups and can have some fun with it

Thats great to hear, Ive 100%'d the mod a few times now and each time was different as progress depends on how well you've played the save so far as you can lose more or less money each play through depending on how well youve played, you can get money by street heists, races, and completing missions / NG+ missions so you can get your way to the top whichever way you like and I think that really does add to the replayability.
