Anyone know why level 5's crates give only 1 coin when kicked once?

I've been trying to 100% the game for the first time. I'm doing the PC trick of only hitting the crates twice and reloading the level to reset them.

I noticed that on Apu's level they only give one coin when kicked once while on every other level they give a bunch more. It doesn't ruin the experience nor is it that much of a deal, but it's something you can't ignore once you know about it.

Is there a reason why they don't give as much? Or is the game racist against Indians?

It's because of a bug in the prop data in the Level, I believe the coin distribution events are missing or something like that.
