How do I play mods?

I have just joined this site and i've seen many people releasing mods but I don't know how to play them, if someone could help me, I'd love that.

Install the mod launcher from here, then download any mod you like and extract the LMLM file of the mod into the "Mods" folder
Open the launcher, and enable the mod by ticking the box next to mod's title
