Simpsons Hit and Run crashes

I've been playing the game with mods recently, all the files are untampered, and suddenly, it just stops working. It freezes for a second then crashes after the Radical logo recently. This did not happen before in 2 weeks of playing. Can anyone help? I've tried disabling mods but that doesn't work.

Try editing your save files to say "Savex.bak" (the x being your number save) or delete them and try again. That's what happened to me once when the game kept crashing after the radical screen, my save file was corrupted.. Your save files for the vanilla game are located on the Simpsons Hit and Run main folder.
