No Character Audio & Other Missing Audio

Here's a quick video. From what I can tell, all character dialogue is missing and I can't hear my car either

The link generated has two asterisks and ends in "ag". I guess it was censored

Can you click Open... -> Launcher Settings -> Game and show me the settings there please?

Thank you. As a shot in the dark can you disable No Mute on Defocus, and if that doesn't happen to fix it can you send me C:\Program Files (x86)\SHAR\simpsons.ini please?

I tried to open that via the run window but nothing will open. Here is a picture of my SHAR folder

Could you try the following please:

1. Move your game install out of Program Files (x86) to a folder with write permissions. Documents, Desktop, another drive, wherever works really.
2. Download the 2 files in this folder - Dropbox Link - and place them in that folder.
3. Go back into the Launcher Settings -> Game and set the game path to the new location
4. Try again

And let me know if it makes any difference?

Can you also just confirm that disabling No Mute on Defocus made no difference?

I moved my folders and added the Dropbox files to my SHAR folder. Then, I went to the launcher and changed the path to the new one. Unfortunately, disabling "No Mute on Defocus" didn't make a difference, nor did anything else listed

In theory, loading either the simpsons.ini and/or the Save1 - both of which should happen on load - should've changed your sound levels. Could you check if these values have changed in the options menu please?

When I refer back to the video I sent, it appears that the values have changed.
