I got the ACIS mod for the simpsons hit and run on my computer, got excited to try it out, but found out that every time i tried to get into a car, I get an error message saying it went unresponsive. Does anyone have any solution to this?

I've downloaded all Donut Mods and run them through Lucas Mod Launcher. Gameplay is there, all the changes, however theres no one to to talk to to start a mission in none of the levels , also no wasp cameras at all. Is it perhaps a setting or something i can change?
