Why I can't setup any mouse button in controls, but they should be there by default?

So, I found 3 models in (art/frontend/scrooby/resource/pure3d): star.p3d, A.p3d, and X.p3d. I already know "star" is unused, but what about the other two? I'm curious where they are used (if they are).

Im trying to set up the bonus game so P1 uses keyboard and mouse, and P2 an xbox one controller I have. Under the vechicle settings there are check marks to tell me what devices each player uses, but I dont know how to change them, any help would be appreaciated, thanks.
